Nepalese Society of California proudly announces New Years Celebration in Woodland

Dear friends and families,
It is our pleasure to announce that the Nepalese Society of California (NSC) is going to celebrate the upcoming NEPALI NEW YEAR 2069 EVE at the following date, time and venue. The organizing committee has made some changes this year instead of outdoor picnic programs in the past years. This year we have planned to organize an indoor program for The SHARING OF NEW YEAR GREETINGS AND BEST WISHES among the society members and well wishers with delicious NEPALI FOODS and various games and cultural activities for different age groups (some special activities for young and teen age children). In order to explore our Nepalese culture and traditions, as in the past, the respected local community members, leaders (including city council) and social workers will also be invited (the details of the guests list will be published once it is confirmed).

Date: April 11, 2012 (Wednesday)
Time : 5.00 pm – 11.00 pm
Venue: John Rogers hall, Yolo County Fairgrounds, 1250 E. Gum Ave, Woodland, CA, 95776
Contribution: $ 10.00 (per person, Children of 10 or below are free)
ARTISTS AND TALENTS are always welcome. If you / your children are interested to take part in any of the activities (games, cultural programs, talent shows, etc), please let us know as soon as possible.
The Committee has also decided to have our ANNUAL PICNIC and FUND RAISING PROGRAMS during the SUMMER with various social activities including BLOOD DRIVE by coordinating with the AMERICAN RED CROSS, etc.
